The Courtesan by Susan Carroll

The second book in the trilogy. I liked the first book better, but that has nothing to do with how good this book is. This time the heroine after being raped years ago thinks the only power she will ever have is her power over men. So she runs away and becomes a courtesan. The hero is the wounded soldier that her family was hiding from the Dark Queen in the first book, that she thought was dead. He is trying to rescue his King and She is trying to seduce his King. I really love these books. I can't wait till I can read the third book.
